A song of ascents. Behold, bless the LORD, all you servants of the LORD who stand in the house of the LORD at night. 1 A Song of Ascents. Behold, bless the LORD, all servants of the LORD who stand in the house of the LORD in the nights. Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD. 2 Lift up your hands to the holy place and bless the LORD from Zion, Maker of heaven and earth.

Chapter 135
1 Praise Yah! Praise the name of the LORD, you servants of the LORD. 2 who stand in the house of the LORD, in the courtyards of the house of our God. 3 Praise Yah, for the LORD is good. Sing praises to his name, for it is pleasant. 4 For the LORD chose Jacob for himself, Israel as his treasured possession. 5 For I know that the LORD is great, and our Lord is above all gods. 6 Whatever the LORD delighted to do, he did in the heavens and on the earth, in seas and all deeps. 7 He lifts up princes from the ends of the earth, makes lightnings for the rain, and makes an outlet for the wind from his treasures. 8 who struck the firstborn of Egypt from man to beast. 9 He sent signs and wonders into the midst of Egypt, into Pharaoh and into all his servants. 10 who struck many nations and killed mighty kings. 11 to Sihon king of the Amorites and to Og king of Bashan and to all the kingdoms of Canaan. 12 And he gave their land as an inheritance, an inheritance to Israel his people. 13 Your name is the LORD forever, your memorial, LORD, from generation to generation. 14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will relent over his servants. 15 The idols of the nations are silver and gold, the work of men's hands. 16 They have mouths but do not speak; they have eyes but do not see. 17 They have ears but they will not hear; there is no nostril, there is no spirit in their mouth. 18 Those who make them will be like them, as well as all who trust in them. 19 House of Israel, bless the LORD. House of Aaron, bless the LORD. 20 House of Levi, bless the LORD. Those who fear the LORD, bless the LORD. 21 Blessed be the LORD from Zion, who dwells in Jerusalem. Praise Yah.

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever. 2 Give thanks to the God of gods, for his steadfast love endures forever. 3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for his steadfast love endures forever. 4 To the one who alone does great wonders, for his steadfast love endures forever. 5 to the one who made the heavens with understanding, because his steadfast love endures forever. 6 to spread out the land over the waters, for his steadfast love endures forever. 7 to make great lights, for his steadfast love endures forever. 8 the sun to rule in the day, for his steadfast love endures forever. 9 the moon and stars to rule in the night, because his steadfast love endures forever. 10 To the one who struck Egypt in their firstborn, for his steadfast love endures forever. 11 And he brought Israel out from their midst, for his steadfast love endures to eternity. 12 with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, for his steadfast love endures forever. 13 Who decreed the Sea of Reeds into divisions, for his steadfast love endures forever. 14 And he brought Israel through its midst, for his steadfast love endures forever. 15 And he shook Pharaoh and his power in the Sea of Reeds, for his steadfast love endures forever. 16 Who led his people through the wilderness, for his steadfast love endures forever. 17 To the one who struck down great kings, for his steadfast love endures forever. 18 He executed mighty kings, for his steadfast love endures forever. 19 To Sihon king of the Amorites, for his steadfast love endures forever. 20 And to Og, king of Bashan—for forever his steadfast love. 21 And he gave their land as an inheritance, for his steadfast love endures forever. 22 An inheritance to Israel his servant—for forever his steadfast love. 23 Who remembered us in our low estate, for his steadfast love endures forever. 24 And he delivered us from our enemies, because his steadfast love endures forever. 25 He gave bread to all flesh, for his steadfast love endures forever. 26 Give thanks to the God of the heavens, for his steadfast love is eternal.

Chapter 137
1 By the rivers of Babylon there we sat, and we wept when we remembered Zion. 2 On the willows in its midst we hung our harps. 3 For there they asked us for our songs—words of song—and our taunts: "Sing to us from a song of Zion." 4 How shall we sing the song of the LORD on foreign soil? 5 If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget. 6 May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not set Jerusalem above the head of my joy. 7 Remember, LORD, the sons of Edom on the day of Jerusalem, the ones saying, "Raze it! Raze it to its foundation!" 8 Daughter of Babylon, the devastated one, blessed is the one who repays you for your reciprocity which you repaid to us. 9 Blessed is the one who seizes your little ones and dashes them against the rock.
